In the past, Bhutan has wisely maneuvered through all major changes and overcome all challenges, under the auspices and guidance of the enlightened principles of the dual system of the synergy of religious and secular (Choed-Sidh) leadership. Due to this flourishing historical legacy, Bhutan is today the last surviving Dharma nation in our world.
Today, Bhutan is faced with myriad challenges of the modern times, and is on the crossroads of momentous changes in all spheres of life at a breathtaking pace. His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo is personally addressing all these critical challenges in the outer conditions of Bhutanese with a slew of visionary interventions. In the same light, to address the inner conditions of people’s view, conduct and and understanding, Lama Kunzang Dorjee Rinpoche, The founder of Jangsa saving Trust has painstakingly compiled this momentous book ‘King’s Governance – The Sun of Peace and Happiness’. This book, praised and highlighted by H.H. Kyabje Je Khenpo, is a momentous spiritual work of intervention and reinvigoration in such critical times.
This book is an in-depth exploration into what constitutes the historical roots and spiritual basis of a ‘Dharma Nation’ – the virtues of the enlightened leadership of the Choegyal (Dharmic King), and its citizenry in accord with the sacred dual system of Choe-Sidh.

This book that has is the bedrock of our nation core and ethos is however only available in ‘Chokye’ which is a major barrier to it’s widespread access and application. Therefore, Lama Kunzang Dorjee Rinpoche has envisioned a pool of contributing volunteers to help us in the process of translating the book into English, so that it can be widely made available to all important stakeholders in our society for widespread for both individual and institutional adoption and application.
